Off BEAT HOMAGE TO INSURGENT POET LAWRENCE FERLINGHETTI on his 90th birthday inspired by:

Ferlinghetti identifies his work as Open Field Poetry not Beat Poetry. Possibly, Allen Ginsberg, Gregory Corso, Neal Cassady, Heidi Benson and jack Kerouac wrote Open Field Poetry too but weren’t aware of it at the time.
This 4 minute video satire mocks popular misconceptions about the beat generation, operation mockingbird, false Muslim attacks and the unutterable sighs of the heart knocking on the door of the unknown. Other targets include; New York Times fiction writers Frank Rich and Judith Miller and Shakespeare’s bitch, Lawrence Ferlinghetti.

Ferlinghetti was in attendance at the now-famous Six Gallery reading where Ginsberg first performed Howl publicly. The next day Ferlinghetti contacted Ginsberg: “I greet you at the beginning of a great literary career,” subsequently offering to publish his work.
The book was seized in 1956 by the San Francisco police. Ferlinghetti and Shig Murao, the bookstore manager who had sold the book to the police, were arrested on obscenity charges.

HALF TRUTH COMMISSION TO HEAR LIES OF OMISSION
The compromise legislation establishes a half-truth commission to examine half of the crimes committed from Sept 11, 2001 to the present. False Muslim attacks, anthrax assassination letters, the NORAD stand down, rigged elections and the suicide of World Trade Center Building 7 will not be reviewed by this half truth commission.

MK-ULTRA – or MKULTRA was the code name for a secret CIA mind-control and chemical interrogation research program run by the Office of Scientific Intelligence.
The program used United States citizens as unwitting test subjects to manipulate individual mental states and to alter brain function.
CIA Director Richard Helms ordered all MK-ULTRA files destroyed in 1973 to evade the scrutiny of congress, specifically, the Church Committee investigations
which took place in 1974.
Although the CIA insists that MK-ULTRA-type experiments have been abandoned, 14-year CIA veteran Victor Marchetti has stated in various interviews that the CIA routinely conducts disinformation campaigns and that CIA mind control research has continued.
In a 1977 interview, Marchetti specifically called the CIA claim that MK-ULTRA was abandoned a “cover story.”
In experiments designed to test the effects of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), the Government of the United States treated thousands of its citizens as though they were laboratory animals, dosing them with drugs without their consent. One of the victims, James B. Stanley, seeks compensation from the Government officials who injured him. The Court holds that the Constitution provides him with no remedy, solely because his injuries were inflicted while he performed his duties in the Nation’s Armed Forces.
