Cindy Sheehan announced that former congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney is running for president. Mckinney’s bid for the Green Party nomination drew cheers of approval at a rally staged by organizers of a “Beach Impeach” event in Berkeley where large crowds supporting Sheehan’s bid to dump Nancy Pelosi spell the word “IMPEACH !” with their bodies. Photographers snap the image from a helicopter and the pictures are distributed through the internet and on video sites like YouTube to millions of viewers.
Mckinney expects to win support from anti war voters, the 911 truth community, election fraud reform advocates and millions of Democratic voters like Cindy Sheehan who feel betrayed by their party.
