Josh Wolf remains in jail for making his own media.

Flux Rostrum was attacked by police and had part of his video camera confiscated for covering an important demonstration in New York City.  

Amanda Congdon has alerted her ABC news audiences to these events by showing video clips of police suppression of video bloggers submitted to her by individual citizen journalists.

The video clips Amanda Congdon has shown to date would probably not have been seen  on a major network news outlet without her being there.

So lets hope she stays there for a good long time.  Good work Amanda.

In this BetterBadNews video response to Renetto, a popular YouTube
personality, company founders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen receive a
tongue lashing for allowing advertisers to purchase the featured video
spot on YouTube’s homepage effectively debasing the user ranking
system. 

Renetto placed a $100 bet that he could prove
YouTube founder Steve Chen responded to his complaints by asking him to
serve as a conduit to the YouTube community. Skeptics were encouraged
to call his bluff. One YouTuber was reported to have raised the bet to
one thousand dollars.

To settle claims of disputed evidence
and to determine how to distribute the winnings the BetterBadNews panel
proposed that a volunteer user jury be convened to establish standards
for user generated justice.
