But is Jesse Ventura running for the Senate or the White House?

Watching Ventura threaten to throw John McCain out of the ring is funny but is Al Franken laughing? His Senate bid is kaput if Ventura runs for the White House with coattails long enough to help green Party favorite, Mike Cavlan, unseat Colemen.
If Ventura chooses to run for the Senate against Franken Coleman and Cavlan anything is possible. Ventura probably wants the White House but he’s going to have to convince Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel to run with him on an independent party ticket to get there. Berkeley icon, Wavy Gravy, surprised political pundits with his surprising endorsement of Barack Obama recently telling betterbadnews : “I’ve been turned”. In this four minute video clip Wavy Gravy negotiates a cooling off period between Code Pink and armed sheriffs deputies, persuading the Berkeley City Council and it’s police goons to, ” back off slowly and leave me alone”. The conflict began after Code Pink and local activists surrounded the Berkeley US Marine Recruiting Center denouncing the Marines as unwanted intruders.

But perhaps Wavy Gravy can be “re-turned”. Green party advocates hope Wavy will eventually dump Obama after hearing what leftist activists and scholars, Webster Tarplay and Kevin Barrett have to say about the idea Tarpley has introduced; that Obama may have been brainwashed by his handlers to concede the 2008 election to the neo-con candidate before all the ballots have been counted?

Building 7 is a strange case. No plane hit Building 7.

Betterbadnews recently spoke with We Are Change LA, a 911 truth organization whose members were physically assaulted by talk show host Bill Maher on his live tv show, Real Time. Maher and one of his writers physically assaulted the hecklers for pressing him to explain what happened to WTC Building 7. Maher had earlier slandered 911 truth activists as “crazy” and “loony” for wanting him to discuss the collapse of the WTC on sept 11, 2001.

After being psyically ejected from the theater, Bill Maher’s staff handcuffed the heckler and threw him out on the street. BetterBadNews has been informed that We Are Change LA is looking for a lawyer they can trust.

World Trade Center Building 7, is the 47 story high-rise office tower that collapsed at free fall speed (6 seconds) in the late afternoon of september 11, 2001. Several hours earlier that morning, the WTC Twin Towers had each collapsed in less than 10 seconds violating the principle of the conservation of energy.

The 911 commission report failed to examine the free fall speed of the collapsing WTC Twin Towers and completely ignored the existence of Building 7 altogether. Why won’t corporate media outlets let their audiences see video clips of building 7 collapsing? Video clips of building 7 collapsing in less than 6 seconds are easily searchable on the internet.

Online policing of politically unreliable web sites (Senate Bill S-1959) will bring to the US internet what Yahoo has already brought to China: Internet related censorship services and jailed dissidents.

Why is the internet tech community so quiet about this issue?

The bill, (S-1959) misleadingly called the Homegrown Terrorism and Violent Radicalization act of 2007 is a thought crime bill. The bill was passed in the house under a curious suspension of the rules usually reserved for non controversial issues like the naming of a post office.

A Senate Vote is imminent. Obama sits on the Senate committee responsible for moving it forward or sending it back to nazi Germany. As of December 27, 2007, Obama says he hasn’t yet decided how he will vote.

Obama’s presidential campaign has been encouraged to contact Robert Scoble for his advice. But what will Scoble say to Senator Obama when he calls?

What if Scoble has been pre-emptively compromised by a web2 business opportunity in the censorship solutions sector of Silicon valley? Dave Winer might want to give Scoble a short tutorial on creeping fascism.

This dangerous bill is being pushed by the Pentagon through it’s favored think tank, the Rand Corporation. If passed it will be another step toward creating an internet policing apparatus complete with watch-lists and user profiles and all the follies associated with the suppression of civil liberties online.
